The Teachers’ Retirement Board Governance Manual, Section 4, requires a Board member who receives campaign contributions, charitable contributions, or gifts that individually or in the aggregate exceed $250 in a calendar year to recuse himself/herself from any involvement in matters involving the donor for a period of 12 months. Campaign Contribution regulations (5 CCR §§ 24010-24013) also prohibit firms shown on this webpage from making campaign contributions in excess of $1,000 individually, or $5,000 in aggregate to Board members in a 12 month period. Firm names and contact names searchable on this webpage are provided to Board members to determine whether they may participate in decision-making matters involving any of these parties.
